Ages 4+. It’s the most wonderful time of the year to decorate gingerbread cookies. Join us as we decorate a pair of gingerbread friends with icing and candy. Registration required; limit 30. Registration for Midlothian residents begins Nov.

Attend our program to make a Snow Globe.

Best for ages 4+. Stop by and pick up a surprise craft to make at home. While supplies last.

Best for ages 6+. Junior scientists, time to get your science on! We’re forging safe science experiments using common household supplies and ingredients that you can later recreate at home. Registration suggested. 

Design and carve a linocut stamp. Use the stamp to decorate a Japanese gift wrapping cloth. Please register; limit 12. 

Find handmade items and gently used holiday decorations.  Sale continues until Thursday, December 19.

The Illinois Tollway is launching an effort to educate and enroll income-eligible persons (under 250% of federal poverty guidelines) in the I-PASS Assist program. For people who use the Illinois Tollway system.

Kids of all ages. Come read to our visiting therapy dogs! Relax and explore stories with one of the pups. When you arrive, you can sign up for a time slot of up to 15 minutes.

Christmas Train by David Baldacci. Accompany journalist Tom Langdon on his Christmas journey to Los Angeles by train. Will he get his story? Will his holiday spirit be restored? 

Best for ages 0-10. Put on your pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal to this storytime for some sleepy time stories, songs and rhymes. 

The AARP Smart Driver course is the nation’s first refresher course specifically designed for drivers age 50 and older. An evaluation of the course found that 97% of participants changed at least one driving habit because of what they learned.
