Program Description

Event Details

Celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month by creating traditional Samoan S'ei Flowers. The traditional Samoan S’ei flowers are a beautiful representation of the island’s rich cultural heritage. These floral arrangements, known as S’ei, are worn during special occasions and carry deep social and spiritual meanings. The sei is not just decorative; it conveys respect, welcome, love, or celebration, and is often presented at arrivals, farewells, birthdays, religious ceremonies, and rites of passage. Registration required; limit 12.
