Best for ages 1-5. Toddlers and preschoolers are welcome to bring their grownups to create simple, awesome art. Registration suggested; limited supplies.

Best for ages 3+. Come sing songs, read stories and make a craft! Registration suggested; limited supplies. 

Best for ages 6+. Junior scientists, time to get your science on! We’re forging safe science experiments using common household supplies and ingredients that you can later recreate at home. Registration suggested. 

We welcome back Chef Violeta Trujeque del Rivero, who will teach you how to prepare masa from scratch, soften corn husks, make a green salsa, and fill and wrap tamales. Samples provided. Please register; limit 40. 

Come and collect a take-and-make craft. October is Halloween themed, and November is Day of the Dead. Registration not required; available while supplies last. 

Come enjoy an afternoon of sewing. All are welcome.  

English as a Second Language Classes  are taught by South Suburban College Instructors at the Library. On Saturdays, September 21  - December 14, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm (no class on November 30).

Put on your dance shoes to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a wide variety of Latin music for all ages. Light snacks, beverages, and a piñata for children ages 12 and under at intermission.

Pick up a craft to do at home. While supplies last.
