Week Calendar

Best for ages 1-5. Parents & Guardians connect with each other while toddlers play with tunnels, play huts, and toys. We’ll also sing songs, rhymes, and read books. 

Midlothian native Lisa Katzenberger will share the story she wrote of her library memories when it used to be on Springfield Avenue! This children’s book will be available to purchase and check out from the library.

Best for ages 3+. Come sing songs, read stories and make a craft! Registration suggested; limited supplies.

Best for ages 5+. Enjoy a chill flick in the cool library this summer. Watch one of the latest kid's movies with us while enjoying a snack with family and friends.  

In this class, you will be guided through gentle yoga poses focused on staying on the floor to optimize roaming kitten cuddle sessions.

Best for ages 6+. Junior scientists, time to get your science on! We’re forging safe science experiments using common household supplies and ingredients that you can later recreate at home. Registration suggested.

Come read to our visiting therapy dogs! Relax and explore stories with one of the pups. When you arrive, you will sign up for a time slot of 15 minutes. 

Test your skills, meet new friends, and compete against fellow gamers. Play various games with other teens on Meta Quest, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5 or various board games. Registration suggested. 

Come out to decorate mason jars of your favorite emoji. Registration suggested. 

Best for ages 0-10. Put on your pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal to this storytime for some fun stories, songs and rhymes.
