Best for ages 0-8. Bring your favorite stuffie to this program for some mellow stories, songs and rhymes. 

Join us to celebrate African American painter Alma Thomas. She is the first African American woman to be included in the White House's permanent art collection.

Test your skills, meet new friends, and compete against fellow gamers. Play various games with other teens on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5 or various board games. Registration suggested.

Create cute Valentines and card boxes featuring animals at South Suburban Humane Society. Your Valentines will be featured for the month of February and go home with the pet and their new families!

Best for ages 1-5. Toddlers and preschoolers are welcome to bring their grownups to create simple, awesome art. Please register; limited supplies. 

Best for ages 6+. Junior scientists, time to get your science on! We’re exploring through the disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math one experiment and challenge at a time. Join us! Registration suggested. 

Best for ages 6+. In honor of Black History Month, enjoy a take-and-make art kit based on the art style of a Black American artist. Available while supplies last.

Join in for an afternoon of sewing. All experience levels welcome. 

Best for ages 0-8. Kick off the weekend with a storytime at the library. Read a story, sing a song and finish it off with a dance.

Best for ages 5+. Kids are welcome to get creative in this self-directed program. We’ll have a craft kit and the basic supplies to create a custom Valentine's Day Mailboxes. While supplies last. 

For all ages. Come read a story or have a friendly chat with our visiting therapy dogs. When you arrive, you can pick up a book from our reading cart or sit by one of the trained pups. 

An organizer from Centro de Trabajadores Unidos / United Workers' Center will be on hand in sharing information about the organization's civic engagement classes and labor and immigration legal services.
