All ages welcome. Learn the ins and outs of a Day of the Dead altar while staff sets up this year’s ofrenda. The community is welcome to display a photo of their loved one on the library’s altar until November 2. 

Best for ages 3-12. Come to the library and decorate a small pumpkin. You’ll have a choice of techniques and supplies for decorating your pumpkin. Registration required; limit 30.

Best for ages 5+. Celebrate the last day of Dia de los Muertos, a day of remembrance for our loved ones gone but not forgotten. First, we’ll go through the symbols of the altar and read a story.

Best for ages 0-10. Put on your pajamas and bring your favorite stuffed animal to this storytime for some sleepy time stories, songs and rhymes.
