Event Details

English as a Second Language Classes  are taught by by South Suburban College Instructors at the Library. On Mondays and Wednesdays, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm or  Saturdays, September 21 - December 14, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm (no class on November 30). Sign up by phone or online to attend one required registration and placement testing session on August 7, 10, 13, 21, 24, 27, 31 and September 4 & 7 from 9:30 am - 12:30 pm. Please arrive promptly at 9:30!  You will need to bring to the placement test: 

  • Current State ID or Driver’s License indicating Illinois residence 
  • Matricula or passport plus another proof of Illinois residence will also be accepted. 
  • Under age 18 – Withdrawal form from the high school of current residence
