Week Calendar

English as a Second Language Classes  are taught by South Suburban College Instructors at the Library. On Saturdays, September 21  - December 14, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm (no class on November 30).

Pick up a craft to do at home. While supplies last. 

Best for ages 5+. We’ll have a small area set up with different art supplies and tools that will spark your creativity to create a new piece of art or a reimagined craft. Supplies are limited. 

Best for ages 0-4. Come and read stories, sing songs and play with bubbles and toys! 

Best for ages 4+. Stop by and pick up a surprise craft to make at home. While supplies last. 

Daughter of Doctor Moreau by Silvia Moreno-Garcia. This retelling of The Island of Doctor Moreau is set in the jungle of nineteenth century Mexico. Carlota Moreau has questions about her father’s research.

For Hispanic Heritage Month, students from Bremen High School’s Fuego Dance Group will perform and provide a dance lesson for all ages and experience levels.

Go head-to-head against other players, eliminating each other from the tournament until only one player remains and wins a prize. Sign up to get your place on the bracket. Registration required.
