The Illinois Tollway is launching an effort to educate and enroll income-eligible persons (under 250% of federal poverty guidelines) in the I-PASS Assist program. For people who use the Illinois Tollway system.

In Chicago around 2 pm,  the moon will appear to cover 94.2% of the sun.  View it at the library.  Eclipse glasses will be available to participants at the program. If it cloudy, we will view the eclipse news in the library.

Nothing compares to the sweetness and flavor of a fresh, home-grown tomato! Mark Lyons, an experienced garden coach, will show you how to successfully grow this juicy, mouth-watering garden fruit in your own backyard or container garden.

Best for ages 6-12. Join us in the courtyard (weather permitting) to learn about science! We will be learning about science experiments you can do at home (with parent approval). Registration suggested. 

Come and read to our visiting therapy dogs! Relax and explore stories with a pup. When you arrive, you will sign up for a time slot of 15 minutes.

Test your skills, meet new friends, and compete against fellow gamers. Play various games with other teens on Meta Quest, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5 or various board games. Registration suggested.

Join us in building a different version of a robot. Registration required.
