How the Summer Library Challenge Works:

Adults (Age 18+)

When you sign up for the Summer Library Challenge, you will receive a Bingo card. This year you will have the options of reading or listening to a book, attending a library program, or watching a movie on Kanopy. Once you create a Bingo (or a few), stop by the library to get your card checked and receive a drawing ticket for an Electric Bike (donated by the Friends of the Library)! Keep completing new bingo cards through Friday, August 1 at 5:00 pm.

For Teens (Grades 6-12 in the fall)

Pick up a log sheet at the Help Desk or a QR code to log online. For each BINGO you complete, you will earn a drawing ticket for an Electric Scooter. All log sheets must be received by Friday, August 1 at 5 pm. Each week on Friday, we will choose from all the teens who logged a book that week for a weekly prize.

For Kids (Birth through Grade 5 in the fall)

Kids choose from one of two Bingo cards. Little readers can request a road map Bingo card, where you mark a task on each signpost until you’ve finished your road. And for kid readers, we offer a DIY Bingo card from a list of tasks. All kids earn a small prize and a ticket for the Grand Prize with every task or Bingo row completed. This year’s Grand Prize is a new bicycle donated by the Friends of the Library! Complete as many Bingo cards as you like through the end of July.

Stop by the library and visit one of the librarians at the Help Desk to get all signed up!
